HI LUBE 044 viscosity is used for low metal removal rate to give smooth finishes.
Special Properties
Proper dielectric strength so that the oil is an insulator until sufficient voltage is applied at which me it becomes a spark conductor from the tool to the workplaces. Then the fluid must change back to an insulator once agein so that electrical energy can be stored for the next spark.

Special Properties
Proper dielectric strength so that the oil is an insulator until sufficient voltage is applied at which me it becomes a spark conductor from the tool to the workplaces. Then the fluid must change back to an insulator once agein so that electrical energy can be stored for the next spark.
Low viscosity to sallow the fluid to circulate through the narrow spark gap and carry away the metal chips. However during roughing operation in which a wide spark gap is used and the metal chips are larger, alightly more wiscour fluid is used to foliate rapid chip removal.
Low volatility to minimize fluid loss and exposure of the operator to the vapor.
High flash point to ensure safer operation. However, if the spark gap is properly filled with fluid, there is little danger of ignition.
Good heat transfer properties to ensure efficient cooling.
High oxidation stability to provide long service life and minimize sludge formation.
Non-toxic and no unpleasant odor to protect the health of the operator.
